Venali Falllight is one of the members of CG1, a special individual recruited for the project from his ancestral home in the Farrión Woods. Possessing both the honed talents of a well trained operative, and the unusual characteristics imbued from his birth and childhood in the Farrión Woods, he is a valued and important part of the Cosmic Gate Project.

Early Life

Venali Falllight was born and raised in the tranquil and then secluded Farrión Village, nestled within the enigmatic Farrión Woods. The village, shielded from the outside world for centuries, fostered a close-knit community with deep-rooted traditions and a profound connection to nature. Venali's parents, Fenbalar and Nerithana, were respected members of the village, instilling in him a strong sense of duty and respect for their heritage.

From a young age, Venali exhibited an insatiable curiosity and a natural talent for physical activities. He spent countless hours exploring the dense woods, climbing trees, and honing his agility.

Contact with the Outside World

Around the age of seven, while playing in the woods with his childhood friends, Venali was witness to the barrier that hid away the village cracking open, and from the outside came strangely dressed people. For a dozens of generations his family had been kept hidden away from the outside, and instantly his - and the entire village's - world changed.

Venali's words heard from an outsider were from General Edward Caze, who endeared himself to the children by offering them chocolate.

Viewing the new world outside as irresistable, Venali and his family moved to the bustling city of Cassea. The transition from the serene village to the vibrant city was challenging, but Venali adapted quickly. As Venali grew older, the lure of academia failed to captivate him. While he respected the scholars and teachers in the exclusive academies of the city, he found more joy in the physical and practical aspects of life. Not familiar with the concepts that these city folk held, like not simply entering whomever's house he wished, he found himself feeling somewhat confined at his schools. He often found himself at odds with the teachers and professors when he would be discovered in his friends classes.

These moments only served to hone his abilities for sneaking around, often managing to go unnoticed while sneaking into other classes. His exceptional dexterity and keen observational skills led him to pursue a more roguish path. Venali became adept at parkour, using his environment to his advantage, and his proficiency with bladed weapons grew alongside his stealth capabilities.

Professional Life

As he grew into his late teens and early adulthood he immersed himself in the city's underground network, making connections with various smuggling rings. His missions often involved discreetly transporting valuable items in and out of Cassea, tasks that suited his stealthy nature and agile prowess.

Venali's talents did not go unnoticed by Caze, and he was recruited along with the others as a specialist operative. He threw himself into his work with a fervor, relishing the opportunities for exploration and discovery. His skills in reconnaissance and stealth made him an invaluable asset to his team, and he quickly earned the respect of his peers.

One of the most significant events in Venali's recent history was the capture of his close friend, Seldzsar. This incident deeply affected him, fueling his determination to rescue his friend and bring justice to those responsible. Despite the risks, Venali's loyalty to his friends and unwavering resolve drove him to take bold actions.

Personal Life

Venali maintains a strong relationship with his family, living with them in an apartment in Cassea.

Venali's personal life took a surprising turn when he developed a relationship with Zara al-Kahina, a woman he met on the mission to P251-2MD/4, known by the natives as Xerestria. Their relationship blossomed quickly, and Venali was overjoyed to learn that he would soon become a father. This news added a new dimension to his life, providing him with a renewed sense of purpose and responsibility.
