Overview

Operation Safecracker was a critical mission undertaken by the Cosmic Gate Headquarters (CGHQ) 16 years ago. The mission aimed to locate and investigate the Farrion Woods, a mysterious area shielded from the normal flow of time and the outside world by the future version of Blacktail. The primary objectives were to secure a special item left behind by Future Blacktail and to investigate the unique connection of the children born inside Farrion Woods to the astral plane, crucial for the Cosmic Gate project.

Background

The Farrion Woods were hidden away by Future Blacktail to protect himself and to attempt to fix a timeloop caused by his and the other heroes' initial failure and subsequent deaths at the hands of Scostodos van Diarmata. After many iterations, Blacktail eventually succeeded, creating a new timeline for his younger self to live in peace. The village within the woods remained untouched for 200 years, during which thousands of years passed inside the shielded area. When the shield began to fail, the outside world detected it. Using information provided by Blacktail, CGHQ initiated Operation Safecracker to secure the special item and investigate the inhabitants' connection to the astral plane.

The primary objectives of Operation Safecracker were:

• Secure the special item used by future Blacktail to REDACTED.
• Investigate and understand the unique astral plane connection of the children born within the Farrion Woods.

Mission Details

Planning and Preparation

The mission was meticulously planned under the command of General Edward Caze. Reconnaissance teams were briefed on the unique temporal and spatial anomalies of the Farrion Woods. Specialized equipment was prepared to handle potential temporal distortions and to safely extract the special item.

Execution

Upon arrival, the CGHQ recon team encountered the inhabitants of the Farrion Woods, who had lived for generations within the shielded area. Initial contact was made with key individuals, including Fenbalar Falllight, the Alwin Raloralei, and the children who exhibited strong connections to the astral plane. The team navigated through the dense, temporally-distorted forest, guided by the detailed information provided by Blacktail.

The children of the Farrion Woods, particularly Venali, Sunny, Xircinus, Seldzsar and Ostara, were found to have unique connections to the astral plane. This discovery was pivotal for the Cosmic Gate project, as these connections could potentially enhance the effectiveness of interstellar travel and communication.

Operation Safecracker was deemed a success. The special item was secured and the unique abilities of the Farrion Woods' children were documented and integrated into the CGHQ's research and operations.
